Why can't I open a Path of Liberation course in Vajrayana Online?

If a Path of Liberation course is locked or won't open, it's usually because your Tergar account doesn't yet show the matching retreat.

Why this happens

To open each Path of Liberation level in Vajrayana Online, you need to have attended the matching Path of Liberation retreat. Vajrayana Online checks this using the My Path record in your Tergar account. If a retreat you attended is missing from My Path, the course stays locked.

Update My Path

1. Go to events.tergar.org and log in.
2. Click your profile in the top right corner.
3. Click Update Progress in My Path.
4. Answer the questions for each Path of Liberation level you've attended.

Allow 24 hours for the change to reach Vajrayana Online, then try opening the course again.

Levels 3 and 4

Mingyur Rinpoche asks that students complete Path of Liberation Levels 1 and 2, including the practice homework, before Levels 3 and 4. Teachings received elsewhere, even if similar, don't replace this.

Still locked?

If you can't update My Path, or the course is still locked after 24 hours, submit a ticket.
