Only Tergar Guides, whom we call Joy of Living Facilitators, offer Joy of Living workshops. Since 2024, completing the Meditation Teacher Program has been required for any new facilitator. The request to train a new facilitator comes from a local Tergar community.
How it works
- Request. A local community asks Tergar International for a facilitator.
- Applications. Tergar International sends an open call to all Meditation Teacher Program graduates.
- Local review. The community reviews applicants and creates a shortlist.
- Selection. The Tergar Teaching Council makes the final decision and announces it to the community.
- Training. The community and Tergar International organize a Joy of Living workshop with an existing Tergar Guide to begin the candidate's training.
