Recordings support the live teachings rather than replace them. Whether they'll work for you depends on the event.
Path of Liberation and teachings with pointing-out instructions
If this is your first time receiving these teachings, we highly recommend attending live. Group practice and Q&A sessions aren't recorded, so please join those if you can. If you can't, we hold Practice Workshops with Tergar Guides at a later date.
Practicing the Path of Liberation (PPOL) and other retreats
Teaching sessions with Mingyur Rinpoche are posted after the last session and stay available for two months. Self-practice sessions, Q&A sessions, and group practice without Rinpoche usually aren't recorded.
To create your own retreat, you can follow the same schedule and choose practices from Joy of Living or Vajrayana Online that fit the themes Rinpoche covers.
