Financial assistance: what if I can't afford the fees?

Cost should never keep you from the practice. Tergar is a nonprofit, and we never turn anyone away because they can't pay.

Choose the Reduced rate

Joy of Living Online and Vajrayana Online each offer a Reduced rate alongside the Standard and Sponsor rates. Each rate gives you full access to that program, so choose the one that fits your situation. Events also have a Reduced ticket.

If the Reduced rate is still too much

Submit a ticket and tell us which program you'd like to join. We can offer a further reduced rate, a discount code for an event, or free access.

You don't need to explain your circumstances. Just tell us what you can manage, even if that's nothing right now.

Why do Tergar programs have fees?

Tergar's mission is to make the wisdom of meditation available to everyone. Fees cover the staff, teachers, translators and technology that make our programs possible, and support Mingyur Rinpoche's monastery. Members who choose the Sponsor rate help us offer reduced rates to others.
